I just gave this topic a thought. Why do we require mobile phones? As far as I'm concerned, I use my mobile phone to stay in touch with my friends, family and business associates. I believe, this is the efficient use where voice communication plays its part. I also use the facility of 3G internet and few other mobile phone applications like Music Player, Camera, etc.

My requirement is limited to the above stated features. But, I have also seen small kids carrying phones to their schools. Why is that required? I believe, it has become a more style statement than a communication device.

iPhone is a revolution in the field of mobile phones created by Apple. The basic need of a mobile phone is to keep in touch with your close ones through calls, sms, mms, etc. There are a few others like internet, email and more.
